The Edinburgh Psychoanalytic Conference

Held biennially in central Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Psychoanalytic Conference brings together analysts, clinicians and those with a serious interest in psychoanalytic ideas to explore a theme of contemporary relevance to the field.

Recent conferences have taken as their themes the dynamics of influence (2024) and impediments to listening in a clinical situation (2026). The next conference will be held in 2028; details will be announced here in due course.
